Prefer the subjective over the objective

I prefer to read the opinions of those I trust, before reading the so-called objective truth on a topic from e.g. Wikipedia.

Consider how this relates to the recent interest in the automation of science. Some articles suggest returning to some notion of the subjective in academic research.
